MicroMachinery
Luckily for us 610/180b/Bluebird-U guys, our windshields are actually glued in. No specific seal required :) Link to comment
datzenmike
This is a great idea as it adds rigidity to the vehicle. The gasket type can pop out in an accident. No accident is good, but the glue in ones make a stronger/safer interior I think. Link to comment
Eric
if it is glued in it makes removing a lot harder, if i break it ill have a serious problem :) but i must fix the rust before it gets worse Link to comment
MicroMachinery
Makes removing much harder? How so? Get a couple of those cheapy orange handled razor blade knives that break off in sections. They will extend way out.. slip it in flat against the glass and cut all the way around the glass. Then go around the edge with a blade and cut perpendicular to the glass all the way around. Easy-peazy, lemon-squeezy. Just make sure that you have a COMPETENT person there to help you take it out. Don't get in a hurry, and DON'T pry on it to get it out. If it doesn't lift out, it's still attached somewhere, and you need to cut some more glue. Take your time, and you'll be fine. Link to comment
