Eagle_Adam
The long-tail 5 speed in my truck is going to eat shit sooner than later, so i purchased a "working" one yesterday and ill be able to pick it up Friday. In the mean time I'm prepping for the trans swap, which brings me to my real question. What clutch kit would you recommend? I have a rebuilt stock L18, what clutch would you prefer? and why? banzai510(hainz)
key to your set up is your flywheel. Most if not all L18s have 200mm flywheels. However 620s for 1 year I believe it is is a 225mm flywheel(on a L18)Means a 5 bolt 225mm. Most L20 620s used a 6 bolt 225mm set up but Im sure the pressureplate is the same But not positive. Be honest a stock 225mm is not bad. Then they have a 225mm Daiken stage 1 also. i got my last clutches from importrp.com. maybe try swapping the years on the 620 and see if the part numbers change. maybe for you best to open up and see what you got first. You might just have a car 200mm flywheel in there then I suggest a Roadster set up. But for daily driving a stock Daiken is cheap about 90$ Quote Link to comment
