TFM1066
Looking for the flex-plate register that pops on the back of the crank, any L-20B, L series 6 cylinder or Nap-Z motor with automatic trans, and 6 bolt crank. Any help would be great. 1 Link to comment
pl521sss
I have one for 6 bolt crank. Anyone know if this is only needed for automatic transmission? Cause I disassembled L20B with 4 speed trans. I found that it's using that flex plate register also. Link to comment

Cause I disassembled L20B with 4 speed trans. I found that it's using that flex plate register also. It's only used on automatics. If there was one on a motor that had a 4 speed it shouldn't have been on there. It will space the flywheel back towards the transmission by about 1/8" and the starter will have trouble reaching in deep enough to engage the teeth. Link to comment
