1989 Starion/Conquest TSI

so very recently i have trade my hardbody for this car.... lol

got some mods .... runs but it has its hick ups.....

 

after some tinckering, found some stuff

 

it has MAF-T and its running really lean and the wideband is all over the place, if any one has any experience with any of these things any insight would be greatly appreciated

Does that have the big ass 4g54 motor 2.6 liter?

 

One of the biggest 4 cylinder production motors made. And they also have heads for theses motors that run on propane because Mitsubishi also used the 4g54 in their small forklifts!!!!

 

Over all I would say that the 2.6 4g54 is one of the best sohc engines ever made, Mitsubishi always makes great engines.

Nice man I used to own a 86 Plymouth Conquest TSi, I only messed around with the engine a little just to get it running. There's a guy that works for Mitsubishi dealership by the Airport that knows all about those cars might wanna ask for him I can't recall his name though. Definitely join the Starquestclub.com forum, parts are spendy and hard to find sometimes.
