inline4
or is the column lock and key different? thanks. Quote Link to comment
the real maldat
A ignition switch from a 69 510 with single sided key and locking steering.. Fits a P910, so all will fit all in between I would guess.. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
The 620 didn't have locking steering AFAIK. There's a hole in the metal column but the switch doesn't have the lock part that sticks out into it. Quote Link to comment
moparvwfreak
YES it will work. i put one from a 240Z into my 73 620. works great. and it plugged right in no issues. looking for another column lock for my other 73. but 620s, here at least, did not have column locks. although they show it in my 73 FSM. datzenmike
Isn't that something. My '73 FSM shows it, my '78 shows it's definitely not there. Quote Link to comment
moparvwfreak
Weird huh??? But they do work in the trucks. And the wiring, at least on mine, was plug and play. Quote Link to comment
inline4
nice. good to know. so the switch layout is all the same? I'm probably going to install one for a friend whose car was missing the key/switch. Quote Link to comment
moparvwfreak
the wiring, at least on my truck was teh same. but mine was out of athe same year Z as my truck. not sure on other years but it worked for me. Quote Link to comment
