JoeR
Since I am replacing my upper and lower ball joints, I though it would be wise to replace some other badly worn suspension components as well. I bought some new bushings for the tension rods and am wondering how they are replaced. Does the truck have to be up on jack stands for them them to be able to be unbolted? I know the bolts that attach them to the lower contol arms also attach the ball joints there but I'm not sure. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
do you have a FSM? yes the truck has to be on stands, i would also do the sway bar link ends and the bushings. I just did all of this on a 710 wagon. PM me if you have questions Quote Link to comment
wayno
When you change your tension rod bushings, you will need it aligned, so replace the tierod ends at the same time, no need to have it aligned twice. Quote Link to comment
