JoeR
My truck has been making a pretty annoying squeeking/chirping sound and I've traced it to these brackets under the cab. Some WD-40 took care of the noise...for now. I noticed they attach to the frame crossmember with bolts and some rubber bushings. They appear to be loose but since I can't tighten the bolts down any further, I'm wondering if they are supposed to left loose. I would love to post a picture, but I havn't figured that out yet. Any thoughts? Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
Torsion key bolts? Quote Link to comment
Alec 720
With the rubber brushing's they probably got compressed, so what I would try is putting a metal washer between the rubber brushing and frame or get new brushing's. Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
Bolts are possibly rusted and may need replaced. Might be a good time to upgrade to poly bushings. Quote Link to comment
