a.d._510_n_ok
I have yet to bring the man a rim that wasn't bent ~ at least according to him. I've been using him pretty steady for about a decade and the man never fails to shake his head and say, "yeah, this one is pretty bent up! you can see where it was curbed!". if I have a flat on one of my "bent" rims in another town and have a tire replaced I always ask the tech if the rim is bent. I always get a shrug and hear, "ah, it's a little tweaked but it's nothing bad" or "naw, it's straight as an arrow!". Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
It's hard to find a good tire man these days. They know nothing about wheels. Most can't even balance a tire properly unless they have a machine do it for them. Good to hear there's some old tire guys left! Quote Link to comment
greengo
I was a tire guy for 7 years....it makes me mad that when I take my car to a tire shop they want to turn my stereo up and rev my car up... But I take the head of the CD player so they cant turn it up and some times I say I have to drive it cuz I have an upgraded clutch...lol Quote Link to comment
