AtomChurch
I have looked around and found some valves for sale for way too much money. I don't really know what size the stock L20 intake and exhaust valves our either. does anyone know of a fairly cheap place to get new ones? Or atleast what the sizes are? i need new ones because my valves got bent. and the shop told me to get new ones because [roy] only does really good work and the used ones I had were in bad shape. I don't need super expensive performance ones just the stock sizes would work. thank you. Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
Mr-auto-parts.com importedcarparts.com Rockauto.com your local Napa. There are a also tone of Z cars so valves shoul be out there. find a U67 head for cheap(Jeff Hino) 253 227 0692 U67 head is 1.65 in 1.38 exhaust/ thats why the cam pin sheared off. You timmed it wrong and thr starter sheared the oin after the piston hit the valve and locked up. Quote Link to comment
AtomChurch
no the pin sheared because I had an extra spacer on the excentric bolt because It stuck to the bolt when I pulled it off a different motor and then I added the on that came off of this motor. and it hit the valve cover and rubbed. are the U67 heads the heads of choice? I dont know what you have. I used U67 as a example. as far as the pin breaking , It wasnt cause it was made in Japan, right? Quote Link to comment
