Project un-rat?

Was kinda digging the rat style of this 4dr I've had for about a year. It's the first one I've ever really had that didn't have a decent paint job.

 

 

Well, circumstances beyond my control have forced me to do something drastic.

 

I'm gonna paint it. :D

 

Pulled all the trim off, welded up the side marker holes, took out the hood pins and replaced the hood with a better one, finally replaced the mangled left fender, and that's where we are today...

 

 

 

Should get all the dents out this week and hopefully spray it next weekend. :D

No, it's going back the stock color, #567 Robin's Egg Blue.

Those on the blue 4dr are brand new, not original.

It's sitting behind the shop, awaiting it's turn in line.

 

Plan is a mid-engined VG30E/5spd. We have most of the parts ready, Tim just needs to finish up "George" the A13 turbo 1200. Then when my CA swap is done in my 1200, we'll get started on it and on building the KA24E 610. :D
