sick620 Posted April 18, 2012 Report Share Posted April 18, 2012 Just put in a new to me used alternator from the junkyard it looks like a new referbd one. The wiring had been hacked up by previous owner and I don't trust that the exciter wires from the stock harness are still doing there jobs... I wanted to know how they work? do they run 12v constantly? Can I just run a couple wires from the fuse box. Power and ground wires are good and I assume volt reg is too Quote Link to comment
