Want to buy Honda cb/cl/sl 350 engine

Not sure exactly how to say this, but I called Ron from All Bikes. Bad news, I got fucked. When I called him to ask what the status is he told me he pulled one of the engines out. It was no good. So I asked him if he was going to check his other engines, and he said he wasn't sure. So I let him know about the guy in Tucson. He said good go buy that engine, because I'm to busy and don't feel like going any further. Pretty fucked up right. But shit it gets worse. Then I asked what about my XR80R I gave him. He said he'll probably just mail me a check for it, but isn't sure and needs time to think. So not only am I not getting an engine I lost my XR80R. So want advice? Stay away from that fucker. (Mods if my post here has too much profanity for Ratsun, let me know and I'll remove it. My apologies.) And after doing some thinking, the engine in Tucson isn't right for me. My reason is simple. The lowest he'll take is $300 for the motor and it will cost me $100 in gas to get there. So to me spending $400 dollars on an engine the the owner himself doesn't even know if it runs just seems like to big of a risk for me. So I'm still looking for a Honda 350 twin motor. If anybody here has any advice, tips or recommendation, feel free to share. I'm at a dead end here.
