reinCARnate
Where should I be looking for kits to convert the front to disc brakes, rack and pinion, with air bags. I was checking out some of those hub to hub Mustang II kits, but they're about 8 inches too wide. But maybe modding one of those is easier and cheaper than the available Datsun kits. Can anyone chime in who's looked into it or done it? This is for a 1969 L521 pickup, 1 ton version. Quote Link to comment
thisismatt
There are not enough 521 pickups in existence, nor enough demand, for anyone to justify making a full kit like you're asking for. Beebani here on the forums makes arms for converting to ball joint spindles and disc brakes, and you can find them elsewhere as well, but nobody makes a R&P "kit". Quote Link to comment
reinCARnate
That's what I figured. Anyway, it kinda sounds like the people over at Fatman will pretty much do anything custom. Does anyone recommend this place? Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
if you got 5k to spend on a 1k truck Im sure they can do it. But Mklotz on here has some stuff for the front. Quote Link to comment
reinCARnate
I think I have 5K for everything! hahaha. Actually I got quoted $2400 for a narrowed Mustang II front end Stage IV setup like this: http://fatmanfab.com/stages.php I also found this rear end IRS setup here: http://www.scottshotrods.com/indrearsus.asp Quote Link to comment
