DaveyDaveDaveDave
So bought this off CL when my d50 4x4 quit. Drove it home. So far its had a basic tune up, new fuel pump and filter and I had to put the little grooved disc back on top of a new (to me [thanks, DudeMan!]) valve spring retainer. Different wheels and tires (have the originals with all the caps, but tiny little car tires) and put in the tach. Total cost, maybe $900 so far. Aaaaaaand pics. Super sweet stock side views :P Fairly minimal tub rust (for a W. Washington rig) Decent tailgate, with stickers (an s10 or bronco2 bumper was ugging up the back end. Weighed 80 lbs, too) Awesome interior, except for my crap in the passenger seat And yea, the seats are that good. Plans? Keeping it pretty much original. Maybe a little more cam, I think I found a 5 spd, and washing off the Washington "green patina" When $ allow, front discs. I may get a little fancy under the hood and better front suspension, but I like these things stock and do plan to use it as a truck. Quote Link to comment
DatDoug
WoW! That is a nice KC  You really scored with that one. Looks fairly str8 & rust-free. How does she run & drive? Quote Link to comment
DaveyDaveDaveDave
carb rebuild coming in a week or two here, other than that, beautiful. Needs a sway bar and that all important 5spd! With the current carb and smog crap, idle is a little erratic. Smog rail gets deleted this weekend for sure, and then I'll check everything else for vacuum leaks. Quote Link to comment
Str8_69
Nice score! Same exact truck as mine.. My dash is even split in the same place on the drivers side  Quote Link to comment
