521chowda
I have recently come across a 84 200sx with the nap z20e. The dude I might be buying it from says that the injectors aren't firing (I'm not quite sure what that means). I was wondering what could be causing this problem. I have heard it can be a number of things. Just need some info before I buy something that I'm going to have a huge project on my hands. Thanks Quote Link to comment
Sealik
Could be 1 of many things. ECM(U)...ground...maybe a bad connection. Who knows.... But.... the injectors do need a pulse from the coil. Quote Link to comment
521chowda
He had mentioned it might be a bad ground but he wasn't sure. If its a ground ill totally buy it Quote Link to comment
yellowdatsun
Stuck injectors, bad connections, bad ecu, etc....... The best way to tell is to make a test light to see if the injectors are getting a pulse. Make 2 leads and a small 12v light, and plug that into the harness at the injector. If it blinks when you crank the motor, the injector is bad. If it doesn't blink, the wiring or ecu is bad. Quote Link to comment
