datzenmike
Off the top of my head... Truck KA24Es are lighter and have the rear sump oil pan that will fit the 720. Car pans are front sump. The KA will bolt to your transmission. The truck EFI is a nightmare to get the wiring out of as it's all bundled into the main truck harness. The 240sx has a separate EFI harness that's easy to remove. Not sure how well the car wiring is compatible with the truck sensors and throttle body so I would swap the much better 240sx KA intake and sensors on too. Quote Link to comment
720RATSUN
any ideas how much the swap would cost??? Quote Link to comment
Digi7al Trauma
....anywhere from free to 1million dollars, depending on where you sauce the motor/parts, your skill, and howmany times you screw up, and on how much you do to the motor. alot of ppl pick up their swaps for free-1000 bux... but end up dumping in another 1-2grand getting the motor built, and working Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
any ideas how much the swap would cost??? Way too many variables. Can you do it, have you done this before? Do you have a place to do it, tools, welder, skills? Do you have a motor? Can you rebuild it? Do you have the money in your hands right now, enough to see it through? If you have to think about any of these questions then someone will have to do it for you and it will cost 3X as much. Quote Link to comment
