ive swapped a few different side mirrors onto my truck and the first thing i would do is take one off to see what the paint/mounting holes situation is like. Id hate to see holes in those pretty doors :P

 

when i got the truck:

There's four screws holding them in, two on top and two on bottom. Seems like there's gonna be holes in the door when I'm done with this.
