There's the aftermarket Nissan/Datsun parts. Also, you can always get an OEM Subaru LSD out of a junkyard, or you can get a rear diff for any non-STi Subaru. This opens up your options into not just open vs. LSD, but open vs. VLSD vs. Torsen vs. clutch type LSD and probably a few other options as well. However the pricepoint goes way up when you start looking at aftermarket Subie parts.

 

The above options are all for diffs to swap into the stock R10 case. You can also upgrade to an R180, this case can come from some Zs (?), ZXs, and other Dattos. With this case you can get either a Nissan LSD, STi stock LSD, or STi Aftermarket LSD. Not if you go Subie with an R180, you're going to have some shit to figure out, becuase the Scoobies use a 27 spline output, where the Dattos used a 25 (?) spline output, this means you can't use the same stub shafts, and need to figure out a different solution.
