Boaty
I picked up a set of 280ZX-Turbo struts today, because the price was right. I don't notice any visual differences between the two. Was wondering if there are any differences between standard ZX struts and 280ZX Turbo struts. Can anybody confirm they are the same? Spindle angles different? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Same. Identical part numbers. If you take a 620 '77-'78 5 speed and call it a 280z tranny (but not zx) you wouldn't be wrong either. Same case and internal gear ratios, maybe the top gear switch is missing and the oil fill hole is on the opposite side but otherwise the same. If you want to call them 'turbo' struts it's ok. Quote Link to comment
Boaty
Sweet. This makes me much happier. And one step closer to ditching my S12 struts (which work just fine, they just have a massive scrub radius from hell.. and prevent me from lowering the front, hehe). I was worried, because I don't have a set of ZX struts laying around to compare them to. Or compare P/N's. Thanks for the info, appreciate the quick reply. Quote Link to comment
