Rat720 Posted October 31, 2011 Report Share Posted October 31, 2011 I just got a new 720 after wrecking my yellow one. The new one is an 84 extended cab. The previous owner did wiring that I can't figure out why, this has to do with the gauge cluster. In the plug for the gas, the wire is cut and redone going through a fuse then into a 5 prong relay under the dash, what was the propose of this? Also, the had gauge reads full around 3/4 full and up past the line around the F when really full, normal? The cluster is out of my old 85 because the original one went out yesterday. datzenmike Posted November 1, 2011 Report Share Posted November 1, 2011 Maybe he had an extra tank and could switch the gauge to read it. Doesn't really matter where it reads full as long as it doesn't lie about empty. Quote Link to comment
