turns over, but doesnt start, but it HAS started and ran briefly, but stalled. Seems like its flooding very quickly, like its not restricted at all, just flows and flows. Someone have some insight into where I can start troubleshooting this? 69 w/j13. What information can I gather to aid troubleshooting?

Theres spark at the plug, so it doesnt appear to be that. Any help is appreciated.

thanks.

Fuel should be at the horizontal line on the glass at the front of the carb.

Put some rags under the front and carefully remove the three screws, the cover and the glass. Carefully save the rubber gasket. Clean the gasket and the groove it sits in. The float hinges on a horizontal pin Take note there is a very small brass spacer on this pin between the glass and the float that is easily knocked off and lost. If the float is brass it could have a leak, fill with gas and sink. Some later ones were solid phenolic resin and couldn't sink.
