1977 Datsun 510 in VT $600!

I though I'd give this CL its own post because you just don't see these '77 510's very often, especially in the NE! And for $600.

 

Does anyone have pics of one of these with better bumpers and better wheels?

Interestingly, my brother owned one of these, sort of, his was a 4-door 1981. Here is a pic of me from 1988 looking like I am making sweet love to the car! (IS this when my Datsun addiction started?)

Very true, I cant tell you how many people stop in traffic to talk about my 620 in NH and MA! I was down in Boston area Sat and one guy followed me just to tell me stories about his. It was kinda cool, and yet kinda creepy.

Didn't think there were any made in '77. Just a few months late in the '78 model year.???

I found some additional info on it in a local ad: built by Millen Racing in '77 purposely for rally racing, It won the North American rally championships in '78."

I like those later 510 hatchbacks.

Very boxy, but with enough quirky details to keep from being boring. ...like the trim on the C pillar and the taillights!
