Dragtalf Posted August 28, 2011 Report Share Posted August 28, 2011 Hi, I'm new here I live in Spokane, WA. My wife and I just bought a 1978 620. We needed a cheap truck for hauling stuff to the dump with house repairs and whatnot. Since I discovered this forum and the slick rides here, it looks like I'll end up cleaning this up. The truck has ~83000 original miles. The only problems other than basic tune up stuff is the heater core was leaking for who knows how long and the driver side floor board is slightly rotted out and the passenger side was "repaired" by just riveting a piece of metal over the rusty floor board. :blink: The carb needs to be rebuilt as well. My uncle-in-law has a complete 1980 620 with no bed that he's letting me us as a parts truck too, so that will help if I need anything. I wish the rest of the paint looked at good as the bed. Forgot engine pics, but I'll get some tomorrow, nothing special under there though. Quote Link to comment
