unde12oath
Hey I'm a Ratsun Noob and I was wondering if 620 interior parts would fit in the 521 without too much fabrication? Quote Link to comment
jon521
what parts do you mean? seats, center console, dash, etc i had a front half of a center console, fit good except it blocked the lower heater vent front opening Quote Link to comment
unde12oath
The dash, cause my dash is beyond repair, and it's been quite hard to find 521 parts Quote Link to comment
jon521
not sure about a dash. how bad is yours? pics? Quote Link to comment
unde12oath
bad enough to where i'd like to change it? Quote Link to comment
wayno
If it could be done, I beleave someone would have done it by now, I don't beleave the windshields interchange, so I don't beleave the dash will either. But if someone was really focused on doing it, I am sure it could be done somehow. Quote Link to comment
wayno
bad enough to where i'd like to change it? Where are you located? Quote Link to comment
wayno
This is what most 521 dashes look like with the covering taken off and painted. Although this is a 521 dash also, so you would have to stick your hand under the dash and feel around to figure out if yours has these holes in it. Quote Link to comment
wayno
You could also put a covering over your dash like a past owner did to this dash. Quote Link to comment
unde12oath
Hmm interesting so is the dash metal? or just plastic? cause if i put maybe 10% pressure on the dash it cracks like no other Quote Link to comment
wayno
This is what the solid metal dash looks like under the padding material, except for that one dash i posted the photo of, that is the only one I ever seen like that. Quote Link to comment
unde12oath
Cool thank you I didn't know that it was metal hah that was quite helpful :D Quote Link to comment
wayno
Like I said earlier, you need to stick your hand up under the dash and feel the bottom of the dash, there is always a chance that it could be a dash like this one. It has giant holes in it, this is the first one I ever seen, but where there is one, there are many more. Quote Link to comment
jon521
ya that first pic wayno put up was of my truck. when i got it the dash pad was already off, but i painted the dash myself, and im happy with how it is. the only thing is that the ash tray kinda sticks up Quote Link to comment
