alt and strater wiring...

got myself a CAN/AM box for my KA swap... one quick question..... do i use the 510 harness for the starter and alt???? i know the orange wire from the ka harness goes to the stater solenoid.. ???

You keep the 510 harness in there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you run a external alternator the volt reg you keep that in there.

If you run a IR alternator youll use the 2 jumpers in the old volt reg connector which is posted a 1000 times over the internet on how to do. No cutting of any thing.

iggy back jumper(from the part store) and hook that orange wire to it to see if it works.

 

 

when making adapers alwasy make it to fit the stock Datsun plugs. so you can keep it stock (incase you make a mistake and sell this and I offer 500 buck cause I see nothing but slices all over the car and say No way Im buying this thing)
