need a mechanic !!

Took my truck 2 some dude he ripped me of plus he messed up the truck, it runs worse then when i took it too him! I live in the San Fernando valley so i would like a mechanic that is fairly close.

well first the guy told me my carb was messed up so he fixed it and then he said the engine was still rocky to he said he was gonna go through it and fix it now he is telling me that the pistons are not working and my distributor is screwed too, but he also has friend that would take my troubles of my hand by buying my truck??

I would ck the valve lash on the rocker arms. search the site and youll find it. valve adjust ect....

 

ck the points ,timming. if distributer has excessive wear it(side to side wiggle) could cause a proplem but.

 

Could be a cracked valve. I havent seen this to myself but to others come a compression test would find this after you do a valve adjustment. or maybe a valve has sunk beyond the rocker arm adjustment.

 

what ever it is its EZ to find if one knows what to do.
