exit64
Check out Fibreglass Supply for all your carbon needs. They are located up around Bellingham but used to be based in the Gorge. I have bought a lot of glass, carbon and resin from them over the years. Do not get epoxy on your self. Wear long sleeves and gloves. Once you are sensitized to it there is no going back. Game over, find something else to play with. And wear a respirator too. You can lightly mist the hood or whatever you are laminating with 3M 77 to give it some "bite" to hold the carbon in place as you are wetting it out. Nothing worse than fucking up the weave pattern cause that's why you are paying the big bucks. If you don't know what you are doing, go into the composite section on RCGroups.com and use the search function. You will be an expert in no time flat. 1 Quote Link to comment
gpimm
Another source that has several outlets including one in NW Portland is Fiberlay. My brother was at the Portland store a couple of weeks ago and was impressed. Nice catalog too. Fiberlay Quote Link to comment
