john510
I have the opportunity to pick up a set of weber dcoe40 carbs and cannon manifold for a decent price.I currently have 38 mm su which run good on my L-20b.Im wondering if there would be a big difference in top end power or not much difference at all ? im not concerned about gas mileage but a little more power is always good.My motor has a .488 lift cam,A87 closed chamber head ported to 1.5" and the matchbox distributor.Ive never driven a datsun with more than just su's on it so i dont know what to expect.Ok lets hear some thoughts on this, thanks. ggzilla
It depends on what size venturis are in the weber 40s. The smaller venturis won't make any more power than the SUs. The largest DCOE 40 venturies flow more than 38mm SUs. Quote Link to comment
