I can get a Z20 short block in pretty sad shape, Its been raped for parts, the cylinders are probably rusted to the cyl walls and there is no head. the engine stamp just says Z20. Its in an 82 or 83 720 but I have no idea if its stock. Quote Link to comment

datzenmike Posted March 5, 2011 Report Share Posted March 5, 2011 The Z20E in the '80 and '81 200sx had the 152.5mm rods and flattop pistons. Few know of it but the 720 Mileage Option motor Z20S ('83.5-'86 ) also has the long rods in it. If the head is off, look at the pistons. The tops should look flat, NO DISH, with small valve reliefs like this... Quote Link to comment
