For your Datsun engines?? Kinda curious since I wanted to rebuild mine, and ran across this website here.

http://www.rpmmachine.com/engine-rebuild-kits-nissan-4-cylinder.shtml

I was looking at their Platinum Kit for my A15, and since it advertises it comes WITH pistons and rings, I though about maybe having the block bored out to about .040 over when I pull it to be vatted.

Just kinda curious whether or not it seems like a good price to you guys and want to know where you guys buy kits from.

if i get things rebuilt, i go local. Try and keep the mom n pop places open ya know? Plus no shipping, excellent customer care...

Good luck tho man!

Well, that would be dandy but I'm poor. Hence why I drive a Datsun

Plus, this would be my first real engine rebuild. I'm kinda excited to do it, since I've never done one %90 by myself. The only thing I plan on sending it out for is for dipping the block and pressing in new cam bearings.

My L20b engine parts are "ROCK" brand. www.enginecomponents.com I rebuilt my motor almost six years ago and about 60k ago. Seems to be working great.

I bought mine from a local warehouse. RJTempleton. Not sure if they have a website or not, and i have no idea if "rock" makes parts for the A-series motor.
