james king Posted January 25, 2011 Report Share Posted January 25, 2011 this is a complete motor from a 71 datsun 510. it has had new rings, freeze plugs and barrings installed. it does need to be reassembled. but all the brackets are there plus some extras. at one time i had two 510s so theres alot of extra parts. it does come complete with an accessory carb and does have a 5 speed transmission. as far as trades go i do have a few VW projects i need parts for: -i have a 69 ghia converible that im looking a accessory after market steering wheel or some accessory wheels. -i have a 67 bug that im looking for some real nice sheet metal for or some 4 lug sprint star wheels. -im also open to any pre 67 bus parts price: $550 for all email or call for more details and photos 832.228.6934 roadkil@texas.net Link to comment

datzenmike Posted January 28, 2011 Report Share Posted January 28, 2011 It's not a dogleg, in fact it's not even an L 5 speed. Looks like a 720 5 speed that will lean to the pass side behind an L motor. If that's the flywheel in the picture, it's from an L20B or larger engine. Block says A87 so unlikely an L20B. .....
