jboulukos
Has anyone replaced a front windshield and used an aftermarket rubber surround? I have a '78 B210 2 door coupe and may want to do this. I believe there are some for sale on ebay. Let me know and send a picture if possible. Quote Link to comment
danfiveten
I was lucky when i had my 510 done. They had a window in stock someone hadnt picked up 4 years before, with a oem rubber gasket. MWA HA HA i got lucky, but i spent days calling shops when my window got taken out. Quote Link to comment
RATDAT3
Dont buy the rubber from Thailand--garbage! Buy it from Australia--more money but will last more than 3 friggin months! Quote Link to comment

deltapeco
I,m having the same problem on mine.Someone suggested taking out the window welding in a lip all around the window opening ,mounting the glass on with goop (glazing caulk) then just dressin it up with trim or go for a flush glass no moulding look.
