Pumpkn210
You get an adapter plate, they are kind of a pain but its the way to go. You could buy an aftermarket side draft intake manifold and run side drafts of various makes/models. Or make your own to fit! Quote Link to comment

metalmonkey47
http://www.jameng.com/ Thats where I bought my adapter for $43. Came with EVERYTHING needed. Just had to remove the old studs from the manifold. Got my carb for $100 on here. Check in the for sale thread for a listing, or post a WTB in the appropriate section. Look for a 32/36 DVG/DGEV/DGAV As far as performance, you will see a gain. Won't be a million HP, but it is noticeable and a great add on to a stock engine. ggzilla
Any auto part store can order the adapter for about $35, it is a common part. But a Weber 32/36 is not worth it. You have to rev the engine over 4,000 RPM to gain any benefit. Bolting on a Weber DCOE sidedraft carb works better at both low, medium and high RPM. You can buy the whole kit (air cleaner, carb, linkage, manifold and gaskets) from Redline Weber mail order. Quote Link to comment

ggzilla
A little worse than the stock Hitachi, which is a superb cruising and part/throttle carburetor. Remember, a bigger carburetor is only better at large throttle openings and/or high RPM. Quote Link to comment

Carb Size depends on how big your motor is. You can always Re-Jet a carb and lean it out if its alot bigger than stock carb and flooding your engine out. But that doesnt mean go put a Holley 750 Double Pumper onto a Wimpy 4 cylinder engine :P Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
any tips on what size carb i would want for a stock engine? Yes: Look for a 32/36 DVG/DGEV/DGAV That's make your 210 go from an 18 second quarter mile to a 17.5 second ripper. Quote Link to comment
