You get an adapter plate, they are kind of a pain but its the way to go. You could buy an aftermarket side draft intake manifold and run side drafts of various makes/models. Or make your own to fit!

i dont have the fab skillz to make anything except dents but would all the trouble be worth it with just a stock motor?

Thats where I bought my adapter for $43. Came with EVERYTHING needed. Just had to remove the old studs from the manifold.

Got my carb for $100 on here. Check in the for sale thread for a listing, or post a WTB in the appropriate section. Look for a 32/36 DVG/DGEV/DGAVcool.gif

As far as performance, you will see a gain. Won't be a million HP, but it is noticeable and a great add on to a stock engine.

Any auto part store can order the adapter for about $35, it is a common part.

But a Weber 32/36 is not worth it. You have to rev the engine over 4,000 RPM to gain any benefit.

Bolting on a Weber DCOE sidedraft carb works better at both low, medium and high RPM. You can buy the whole kit (air cleaner, carb, linkage, manifold and gaskets) from Redline Weber mail order.

Carb Size depends on how big your motor is. You can always Re-Jet a carb and lean it out if its alot bigger than stock carb and flooding your engine out. But that doesnt mean go put a Holley 750 Double Pumper onto a Wimpy 4 cylinder engine :P
