nikleNdyme
After researching for about the last 2 weeks I think I may have jumped the gun on the research and purchases of my BMW headlights. At first I was under the impression that you could install ellipsoids and do HIDS then retro fit them into the headlight assembly, But the more i read the more your not suppose to run HIDs in the BMW headlights now im not sure if you can acutally run HID's with this conversion. as i know the wiring is for a H4 setup and the lowbeam housing is for a 9006 HID kit. i am sorta new at the wiring part of my vehicle, and I know I am going to need relays to do this. so i ask is there and HID kit/conversion from 9006 to H4 for the BMW headlights or should i scrap the whole idea all together? wildmaninid
Yes you can do it, just have to buy the proper HID kit to fit the housings. Get ahold of me if you need any help. HID's are simple just need power and ground, and a small relay for the high beams. Bill Quote Link to comment
