nissan720 Posted September 26, 2010 Report Share Posted September 26, 2010 just swap a 1992 nissan 240 engine into a 1995 nissan hardbody.seems to be running on 3 cylinders .want tach up past 2500 rpm.using sam computer that is from the truck.do i need to use the computer from the 240 car?there is a problem some where.have not moved the distributor.just swapeed the engines.using intake and all that came out of car.i know the truck had that funky looking throttle body.is the computer the problem.need help with this one.this is my first swap really want to use the mass air from the 240.any help is greatly appreciated.thanks, kirk Quote Link to comment
HRH Posted September 26, 2010 Report Share Posted September 26, 2010 Can't do it. You need to swap the truck intake onto the car motor or use the car harness/ecu with the car motor in the truck. Completely different setup. Quote Link to comment
