datzenmike Posted September 19, 2010 Report Share Posted September 19, 2010 Tighten to 22-25 ft. lbs., turn hub several times to seat the bearing, check the torque is still 25 ft. lbs. and then loosen nut 1/4 turn. Adjust the the castellated nut so that the cotter pin will pass through it and the hole in spindle, bend ends over and install dust cap. Quote Link to comment
