datto510
No relay, its mechanical and driven from the cam. Quote Link to comment
INDY510
Spray some starter fluid in the carb while cranking it over..... If it doesn't even sputter,,, ,, then you don't have spark.. (or the proper firing order) Has it ever ran when you owned it?....... ... when you say "it has spark" ..... what did you check? Quote Link to comment
Zeusimo
It Ran When I Bought It Drove It From Fresno To Modesto (The Little Engine Can RUN!) Parked It On My Driveway And Next Morning Wouldn't Start I Pulled The Spark Plug Out And Touched It To The Head And Tried Turning It On And There Was Spark Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
Sounds like a fuel problem if there is actually sufficient spark. An engine really only need spark, fuel, and air to run. Check to see if you have fuel to the engine. The starter fluid check would also tell you if its a fuel problem. Quote Link to comment
datsunaholic
A '78 MIGHT have an electrical pump (they had electric pumps if they had A/C), but there's still no relay. Pull hose off at carb and crank, you'll know if there's fuel then. Quote Link to comment

Zeusimo
FIXED My 620 Does Have A/C I Looked For The Fuel Pump And It Has An Aftermarket Universal Electric Pump Without A Filter (I Will Buy A Proper One Eventually) I Just Cleaned The Carb And Added ALOT Of Stating Fluid And Started After Maybe 10 Seconds (Found 2 Loose Screws) It Runs Fine Now THANKS!
