7-TWO-510
[/img] I was wondering if anyone knew anything about rebuilding brake calipers, because we cannot find any online or in stores, so i was going to order the rebuild kit. What is a way to pull the pistons out and replace the seals? Any feed back would be great, Thank you. Quote Link to comment
Stupid_fast
If you've got 14" or bigger wheels you should be able to bolt-on some re-man 280zx brakes for the front. Not sure about rebuild, but rockauto sells kits for it. Quote Link to comment

Apply air pressure to the inlet and the piston will pop right out. Warning: they come out with a lot of force so do NOT get your fingers in there! 100psi on a 2" piston will equal well over 300 pounds on a finger. Clean thoroughly with brake cleaner and brass bristle brush. Pistons and bore must be spotless. Bores can be lightly polished with extra fine steel wool. Wash with hot soapy water rinse thoroughly and hand dry. Do not use ANY petroleum cleaners or lubricants on a brake item. Rinse with brake cleaner and blow dry. Quote Link to comment
