banzai510(hainz)
this is a EZ fix. get fusable link from Dealer/ this will be the round lug wire that hooks up on the starter lug and battery cable goes to it. this fuasable link supplies the fuse box. I would ck the alternator out to make sure you dont have blown out diaodes. get it tested by a good shop. might be cheaper to just buy another. I run external volt regs myself. datzenmike can show you how to convert to a later 50/60amp IR alternator from like a 79200sx just short out some wires on the old volt reg connector. no need to cut anything http://datsun510.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=124&size=big&papass=&sort=1 Quote Link to comment
