nis720
Only one way to find out... test light. My guess would be: Red = ignition Blue = remote turn on or antenna turn on Black = ground Yellow = constant power/memory White = illumination Quote Link to comment
Iowa Mark
Don't cut the red one or that thing will turn into an 8-track! Quote Link to comment
WAGON JON
get a good auto repair manual with an exact wiring description of your truck and look there for best results. Quote Link to comment
nismo90631
Only one way to find out... test light. My guess would be: Red = ignition Blue = remote turn on or antenna turn on Black = ground Yellow = constant power/memory White = illumination thats what i thought but they also have something to due with sound these wires are the pin out from the cassete player to the stereo i made another cable to try to turn it into a 3.5 mm headphone jack to the 5pin din cable it need and i figured out the ground cable and the left speaker cable but when i plug in what i assume to be the left speaker it cuts out completely kinda like when you play a tape but it doesnt play anything at all so im still gonna play around with it and if i figure it out ill do a write up on it Quote Link to comment
elmerfudpucker
so I am guessing the cassete is a separate unit. does the cassete part have any other plugs or wires? if not then I would say the red is power, blue is audio ground, black is ground, yellow and white are audio positives. nismo90631
the cassette player has a separate plug for power and ground Quote Link to comment
elmerfudpucker
then one wire is frame ground, then the other 4 are pos and negs for left and right. try this: 2 left+, 6 left-,9 right+, 4 right- and see where that gets you. Quote Link to comment
