1fastben
Hey guys, So I just got my first Datsun, and it's an Oregon ccar, and I live in Utah. Neither I, nor the guy I bought it from, consider the elevation changes and how that'd effect the carburetors. It's a KA24 SOHC with Mikuni carbs. He has it set to run rich, but in the thin air up here, it just hardly runs because of that. Idle is no problem, everything else is. I have to run out the door in a minute, but I REALLY need advice on what jets to put in there to make it run lean, like what sizes for the medium and high end n' such. I'm just a little (lot) stressed about this, because the car has to be ready for Idaho Rally in three weeks. And I've never driven a RWD car at speed on the loose, so some testing is really needed! Oh, they're the 44mm I think, with a space dropping them down to 32mm. Thanks for any advice you can give me! Quote Link to comment

It's not in that great of shape anyway. Will call Todd for sure asap on Monday. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
