Just Joel
Is the factory wagon gas cap chrome or stainless like the other moldings on the car? I don't have one yet but I’m in the market and wondering how hard it will be to repair hazing/scratches in the surface... Thanks Joel Quote Link to comment

Careful with that ebay cap. Says it fits a 510 from 68-73 and a 620 Pickup from 73-81 I know that the 510 took 2 different caps. Early one for the 68-69 and late one for the 70-73 I have this one. Fits the 68-69 cars. Can be installed on the later cars if you swap out the filler neck for the early one. http://community.ratsun.net/topic/22312-nos-wagon-locking-gas-cap/ Quote Link to comment

Just Joel
Thanks for the links but I have tracked one down and its for a fair price but it looks like someone tried to polish it with a dremal tool and there is a lot of hazing in the surface of the finish. Is there a way to polish this out or is replaiting necessary? Thanks Joel Quote Link to comment

Just Joel
That’s what I figured... well, some time down the road I guess. For now, the red rag the wagon came with needs to go ;) Thanks Joel Quote Link to comment
