any one have a traxxas slayer?

I am thinking of buying a traxxas slayer from my boss for $300.00 . It has benn up graded to 1/8 scale wheels and hubs.

Any one on here have a slayer? tell me the pros and cons of owning one? ;)

I have a couple of slashe's. From whast I have seen at the track, not that fun. Just get a revo, based on the same platform as the slayer. I think the slayer will over power a shortcourse track. Check out rcshortcourse.com theres alot of good info on that site.

i am not sure if i want to buy a off road car or a hpi rs4 evo 3 drift car. i already have a rs4 evo 3 but its not the drift version. but i have a tun of spare parts for a hpi

I have an Exceed truck modeled after the slayer.

 

The Slayer is by far one of my fav Nitro's. The HPI are okay, but not anywhere nice as the Traxxas.
