240z Question

So I was looking around craigslist the other day and found this 72' 240z for $6500. It has lots of work done to it which I am somewhat worried about.

I went to check it out and from visual inspection it looks great. My main concern is the mismatched parts all throughout the car. Does anyone have any input on this? It seems like a great deal to me but i thought i would run it by you guys first.

Looks good. Did you take any pictures of your own? Higher res maybe? Can't see many little details with those tiny pics.

I did not but I was very impressed when i saw it in person. It was much cleaner then i expected. Even the interior was nicer than i imagined it would be.

Looks fine to me, price is decent too. Don't worry about the "mismatched" parts, all the ones listed are popular upgrades to the 240z.

nice car, check for rust (doubt it) id get rid of the ugly sub box. and wonder why he used a 2.6 not a 2.8, but other than that its a great one.

would this car be reliable at all or does it seem like it would need lots of frequent repairs? i know its a 40 year old car but i still need it to be reliable and not cost a fortune to keep it running
