rearend for my 521

Ok the rear end in my 521 leaks and the guy who owned it before me welded up the rear end!!! i want to swap it out but dont know what would be a suitable replacement! Any ideas??? I also plan on doin a 5 speed swap!!

he welded the spider gears so its posi ALL THE TIME!!!

Any 521 or 620 (except the '74 auto and '79 standard) are the same ratio. 720 4X4s to '82? Somewhere around '82 the drive shaft yoke became bigger and won't work on yours. If you want a lower ratio check the 720 2wds. '82 automatics had 4.11 standards were 3.889 there were also 3.70s.

The '74 auto was 4.625 and the '79 standard was 4.11 otherwise they were 4.375.
