Pacific coast Datsun Posted June 8, 2010 Report Share Posted June 8, 2010 Rust- sand / grind off, primer then repaint. Broke- replace. remove cowl & you'll see the 10mm bolts that hold them on. im sure somebody on the forum will give em to you free, at least i hope so. Quote Link to comment
datsunaholic Posted June 8, 2010 Report Share Posted June 8, 2010 The hinges aren't held on by 10mm bolts, they're spot welded to the cab body. Sometimes you can weld them back down, but sometimes they're just too broken. They break off when the hinge itself siezes up. There's a lot to rust under the cowl, so those really need to be checked periodically. Quote Link to comment
