Fuse Box ??

I have a 1978 620 truck. The fuse box on the dase, I keep blowing the bottom left fuse. Does anyone know what that fuse goes to?

it should be a 10 fuse, looks like my book says

Regulator

Sorry, I didn't add enough info. I put a new fuse in and it blew right away. I have a short some where. I was wondering if someone new what the bottom left fuse went to, so I would know where to look for the short.

It powers the brake light, charge light, temp light and the oil light in the dash (meter)

Powers the reverse light switch in the tranny.

Powers the turn signal switch for flashers.

 

 

Did this just happen or did you just get this car and do not know the history? If it just happened then think back to what you have done lately that might have caused it. If you changed the starter or transmission then the reverse light wires may have been pinched. Have you had the tail lights off or been working on them? Are there any loose wires back there?Try disconnecting the reverse light switch wires on the tranny. I assume its a standard? The reverse light switch is on the pass side a few inches behind the clutch arm with two black wires.

I just got the truck. I don't know the history behind it. However, the first thing I did to the truck was to put a starter on it myself. Nothing on the dash works. The charge light is on.
