How to remove and replace wiper switch?

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to replace the wiper switch but the head light knob is preventing me from removing the cluster frame, know what I mean? So how do i remove the head light knob in order to do what I have to do? Keep in mind I didn't remove the wiper knob, it's not connected.

Thanks

For headlight switch, pull out all the way. Grip the shaft well below the knob close to the dash with needle nose pliers and hold tight. Push the knob down toward the dash and turn to disengage and lift up and off.

HAHAHA! STUPID! SOO EASY! Thanks guys!

Well, I plugged in the new wiper switch and it still isn't working. It could be a dud switch or the wiper motor. How would one find out if it's the wiper motor rather than the switch itself? I know you're 'posed to pull the wiper knob for the wipers to go but nothing.
