philcas1987
Well I'm sure you've read up already. Most people run the z32. You can run a single cam one in a pinch. I thought you got a maf. An elbow with the maf spaced a certain distance away from turbo inlet and you're typical mushroom filter Quote Link to comment
sssr20det510
ya i know a lot of people run the z32 maf sensor, but on DSMs the big thing is to run the maf sensor right before the throttle body not on the air filter side. they also use a gm 3 inch MAF with a MAF translator. Wasnt sure if anyone is running a similar set up on a sr and yes i do have the stock maf Quote Link to comment

Danfinny
Sorry I am idiot, i didnt see the little post blow or suck....on my sr i had a suck...and it worked fine until i hooked up a atmospheric bov, which you can also tune for, blow through give you better response but your going to need a bigger maf. and they can act a little funny at idle. N62 or Q45 maf will work just fine. they say just try to have 3 or so inches of straight pipe before and after the maf. Quote Link to comment
fo0manchu
im thinking the hardest part of doing a blow through in our 510's would be the space constraints. With a FMIC, where would you find the space for a straight piece of pipe and far enough away from the TB to get good maf readings? Quote Link to comment
Danfinny
yeah that might be a problem.... Quote Link to comment
